Crunchyroll welcomes press outlets from across the US and around the world and is happy to provide approved members of the media with complimentary Press Passes. Before you apply, please understand…
YOUR PRESS PASS HAS RULES
Your Press Pass allows complimentary access during all public hours. Your Press Pass does NOT allow early access or special access. Your Press Pass does NOT allow you to cut lines. Your Press Pass does NOT guarantee you seats. Your Press Pass does NOT guarantee you autographs.
PRESS PASSES ARE FOR JOURNALISTS ONLY
Press Registration is open to journalists making regular editorial contributions only, and Crunchyroll Expo considers journalists to be writers, reporters, reviewers, bloggers, vloggers, producers, podcasters, photographers, and cameramen who have a reach within a community and who are attending specifically to write about Crunchyroll Expo. Non-Editorial personnel at media companies such as marketing and sales staff do not qualify for Press Passes and will not be approved.
Press Passes are non-transferable. You may not loan or sell your Press Pass, and anyone conducting such behavior will be disqualified from Press Passes at future Crunchyroll Expo events.
APPLY ONCE PER ORGANIZATION
Please only have one member of your media outlet apply for badges – they can apply for your full team. This person should be your organization’s main contact, and they will be responsible for picking up all of your badges onsite.
YOUR PRESS PASS DOESN’T GUARANTEE INTERVIEWS
Want to speak with a guest? Your interview must be arranged prior to the show. Please do not come to Crunchyroll Expo expecting to arrange interviews with talent at the event. All our guests have approved schedules, and any interviews must be approved and scheduled through Crunchyroll Expo’s Press team beforehand.
ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE REVIEWED
We don’t want to be rude, but please don’t apply if you’re just looking for a free badge. If you’ve got a YouTube channel that hasn’t been updated in six months, a blog that exists only to post your convention reviews, or a website that’s “launching soon”, we can’t approve you.
After reading this page, please click through to the form which follows. Complete this form in its entirety. After Crunchyroll Expo receives your application, our Press team will respond within the dates listed below. Please understand that simply submitting does not guarantee you a Press Pass. It is only after your full form is received, reviewed, and approved that a Press Pass will be issued. Incomplete applications will not be approved.
Online Press Registration will close at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on July 24, 2017.
